Fees and Charges - Traineeships
Fees and charges are in line with the 2009 Ministerial Directions about Fees and Charges. The minimum tuition fee charged is $187.50 and the maximum fees charged within a 12 month traineeship is $1250.
Minimum Tuition Fees
All students enrolled in a government funded course that holds a Commonwealth Health Care Card, Low Income Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Cold Card will pay the minimum tuition fee of $187.50
Under the Indigenous Completions Initiative, all enrolments undertaken by Indigenous students attract only the minimum tuition fee of $187.50
Student services amenities fee (SSAF)
SSAF is applicable; this varies depending on the qualification being undertaken. This will be discussed upon enrolment.
Government funding eligibility criteria
To be eligible for government funding you must meet the following criteria:
Meet one of the following citizen/residency status:
- Australian citizen
- Australian Permanent Resident (holder of a permanent visa)
- holder of a Special Category Visa (sub-class 444, New Zealand citizen)
- East Timorese asylum seeker, or
- holder of a Temporary Protection Visa.
And are any of the following:
- a young person under 20 years
- an applicant seeking a higher qualification than the highest qualification already held.
Refunds
For a student to gain a refund, they must give written notice to APlus at any time up to four weeks after the commencement of training, APlus will refund, to the student the tuition fee paid less the sum of $187.50, which is the minimum fee.
Fee for Service Training (FFS)
FFS is applicable to those enrolled in qualification that does not attract Government funding. These costs vary depending on the qualification or short course undertaken. Please contact APlus RTO for these fees and charges.
