When will my training start?
Your training usually begin within 4 weeks of you commencing your traineeship with your host employer.
How much will it cost?
Fees and charges vary between $187.50 - $1250 for a 12 month traineeship.
Who will pay my fees?
Fees and charges are invoiced to you.
Do I need to buy any books?
The work books used are given to you on loan however you can choose to purchase your own.
How does the traineeship work?
You combine training and employment to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. It is competency based training.
What is competency based training?
Competency based training means you can complete your training faster and work at a pace that is comfortable for you. It can be achieved either on-the-job or off-the-job.
Can I complete early?
Yes as mentioned above competency based training allows you to complete your training early depending on the qualification you are completing and the skills and knowledge required.
What is the difference between my trainer and my Employment Co-ordinator?
Your trainer conducts your training requirements and your employment coordinator deals with all your employment issues.
What are my options for training?
There are varied training options available. Depending on the qualification you are undertaking you may attend the APlus training centre on specific training days or your trainer will visit you in the workplace monthly.
