    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Year Apprentice to commence their apprenticeship with our Host Employer based in Altona North.

    The successful person will be based with a National and International leader in logistics. Working in their workshop you will learn all aspects of vehicle repair and service operations.

    As an apprentice you will undertake further training at an apprentice Tafe. On successful completion you will receive a Certificate III in Automotive - Heavy Vehicles. Junior Apprentice Award wages applies to this position.

    The successful applicant will:

    • Be hard working
    • Available to work morning and afternoon shift / appropriate allowance will be paid
    • Demonstrate a positive attitude
    • Have a passion for the automotive industry
    • Be mechanically minded

    Completion of a Pre-Apprenticeship course in Automotive is preferred however not a necessity as is a drivers licence.

    This 12 month traineeship which will see you completing a Certificate III Information Technology. The National Training Award wage applies to this position.

    The successful candidate will perform such tasks as:

    The Burwood campus requires a full time trainee working school hours Monday to Friday. The Croydon campus requires a part time to work 15 hours over 5 days each week (Monday - Friday 9am-12pm).

    Your role will encompass working with children during school hours and performing a wide variety of duties. The school caters for newly arrived students from language backgrounds other than english. The students participate in a 20 week intensive program before being integrated into mainstream schools in the community.
