Health & Community Service

Community Care workers provide services to the aged and disabled, both in a home environment or a community setting. Helping others to maintain and improve their health, well being and independence is an exceptionally rewarding path.

APlus has placed over 600 staff in this field. Our Education coordinators in the Community Health & Services include a registered nurse and two enrolled nurses, all with many years of industry experience. As a result, they have many links with major health providers and facilities as well as training providers in the sector.

It’s often a lifetime career choice for many as a large percentage of trainees go on to become registered nurses in this field. APlus is strongly committed and passionate about the training of nurses and carers in the workplace.

We understand the issues of workforce development and compliance and we are the only organisation working in Aged Care to this level with many years of industry leadership and experience.

Our staff have a long background in the industry and with their links to the latest training and industry practices, are able to bring the latest thinking into your workplaces and assist in putting this learning directly into practice.

Depending on your requirements, we have many candidates that could be suitable. We have a portfolio of job seekers for the following sectors:

  • Division II Nurse
  • Personal Care Attendant
  • Home and Community Care
  • Information Technology
  • Administration

As we know through experience, every business is different. So we work extremely hard to get to know
you and your business so that we can create a service offering that brings the best value.

We make time for this to happen and that starts with the fact that we conduct field visits every two months (rather than quarterly, which is the industry norm).

So we can discuss your specific requirements in more detail, please contact our dedicated Employment Service Managers Mark Hughes on 9481 9125 who will tap into your key requirements and ensure you speak with the most suitable Employment Co-ordinator who can develop a personalised package for your needs.
