How it works
We make the process simple for employers. But most importantly,
we help find the right person for the job.
- We legally employ the apprentice or trainee and place them with ‘host’ employers. APlus receives financial support from State and Federal Governments, so the expense to employers is kept to a minimum.
- We pay their wages and super and regularly monitor their ‘on-the-job’ performance as they work towards a nationally recognised qualification.
- We conduct scheduled visits to the workplace every eight weeks, so we are in constant contact where it makes the most difference.
- Our network is the largest employer of apprentices and trainees in Australia with over 150 companies across 200 locations. We have a reputation for quality, service and effectiveness.
- Our deep industry knowledge and experience means we can consistently meet the needs of both the employer and the apprentice or trainee.
All you have to provide is:
- Supervised on-the-job training
- A safe and healthy work environment (to WH&S and EEO standards)
- Payment of one simple invoice to cover wages and on-costs
